Our board

Robbie has been the chair of the HCBS since 2020 and is a Haringey Council appointee to the board. In his day job, he is the assistant director for housing at Haringey Council, where, among other things, he is responsible for the delivery of their 3,000 council home programme. Prior to this, Robbie was at TfL, where he helped build their 10,000 home, 50% affordable programme. He also spent a number of years in politics, as an advisor to senior Labour Party politicians.

Mark is currently corporate director of regeneration and culture with Redbridge Council. He previously worked for Haringey Council and has been involved with HCBS from the start. Most of his career has been focused on helping homeless people find a home, as a foundation for a successful family and community life. Mark lives in Abbey Wood, Greenwich.

Paul has lived in Haringey for over 40 years and has a keen interest in housing and the community. He has been on the HCBS Board since 2021. Paul works in sports consultancy and has family who have grown up in North London.

Claire has been at Haringey Council since 2019, and has been assistant director for strategy, communications and collaboration since 2021. Before that she worked for almost 20 years in Westminster, Whitehall and in the charity sector in strategy, communications and public policy roles. Claire was a special adviser in 4 government departments between 2005 and 2009 including the Department for Communities and Local Government. Immediately before Haringey, she was the General Secretary (CEO) of the Co-operative Party which included working closely with co-operatives and community benefit societies of all shapes and sizes. She lives in London and is passionate about how we make our city a fairer, safer and more affordable place to live – where all residents enjoy a great quality of life.
